Ben Patton entered public accounting in 1979 after graduating from the University of Maryland with a BS in business administration. He was certified as a CPA in 1982. Ben is the founding principal of Patton and Braucht, P.C.
Ben has experience in a variety of accounting and tax services, including tax preparation and planning (individual, business, non-profit, estates, and trusts), and considers himself to be a general practitioner. He currently is the main principal representing our clients before the IRS and oversees the tax department.
Ben is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is licensed to practice in both Maryland and Virginia. Ben is married and has seven children (six girls and one boy in the middle) and nine grandchildren.
