Bruce has a Master of Music in Performance from The Catholic University of America and played trumpet in The United States Marine Band in Washington, DC for 20 years before becoming an accountant. He began his career change by preparing individual tax returns in 1986 while studying the additional accounting courses he needed to sit for the exam to become a Certified Public Accountant. He passed the exam in the Fall of 1994 and received certification the following Spring.
Bruce came to Patton and Braucht, P.C. in 1995 as a business tax manager and stayed for 6 years before moving with his family to Europe for 4 years. We were pleased to have him rejoin the firm when he returned to the U. S. in 2005. Since then he has taken on the role of manager and specialist in taxation for taxpayers with multiple and complex business entities.
